General FAQs

Best for community building, class promos, and visual storytelling.

Create a photo or carousel post

  1. Tap the + icon at the top of your profile, then choose Post.
  2. Select one photo, or tap the stacked-squares icon to pick up to 10 for a carousel.
  3. Apply a filter or skip — then tap Next.
  4. Write your caption (Avenzo can draft this for you), add a location, and tag people.
  5. Tap Share.

Upload a video or Reel

  1. Tap the + icon, then choose Reel.
  2. Either record in-app or upload an existing vertical video (9:16 works best).
  3. Trim, add music from the Instagram library, and add text or stickers.
  4. Tap Next, write your caption and cover image.
  5. Tap Share — Reels appear in both your feed and the Reels tab.

Reels under 60 seconds get the most reach. Keep the first 1–2 seconds visually interesting — that's what decides if someone keeps watching.

Post a Story

  1. Swipe right from your feed, or tap your profile photo with the + icon.
  2. Take a photo/video or upload from your camera roll (last 24 hours appear first).
  3. Add text, stickers, polls, questions, or a music clip.
  4. Tap Your Story to publish — it disappears after 24 hours.

Add the Location sticker and a relevant hashtag — stories with both get up to 2x more views.

Check your insights

  1. You'll need a Professional account — Settings → Account type → Switch to Professional (free).
  2. From your profile, tap the three lines (☰) → Insights.
  3. Look at Reach, Engagement, and Followers — those are the three that matter most.
  4. Tap a specific post to see how it performed individually.

Grow your following

  • Post consistently — 3–5 times a week is plenty. Quality and rhythm beat volume.
  • Lead with Reels — they're shown to non-followers, which is how new people find you.
  • Use 5–10 specific hashtags (your city, your format) instead of broad ones like #fitness.
  • Reply to every comment in the first hour — engagement signals tell the algorithm to show your post to more people.
  • Collab with one or two local instructors monthly — joint Reels reach both audiences.
  • Show your face. Personality posts outperform polished promo posts almost every time.
